\"26.02.2015_1\"<\/a>Heute besuchten zwei EoA Inspektoren den Rindermarkt in Leeuwarden, auf dem jeden Donnerstag \u201eausgediente\u201c Milchk\u00fche zum Verkauf stehen – haupts\u00e4chlich zu Schlachtzwecken.\u00a0Seit unserem letzten Besuch im August 2014, sind aufgrund unserer Vorschl\u00e4ge einige Verbesserungen durchgef\u00fchrt worden, nachdem wir einige Verst\u00f6\u00dfe bzw. Probleme beobachten und beanstanden konnten.<\/p>\n

Zun\u00e4chst wurde eine flachere Laderampe errichtet, die zu besseren und entspannteren Ladebedingungen f\u00fcr die K\u00fche f\u00fchrt.\u00a0Dies ist insbesondere f\u00fcr die schw\u00e4cheren Tiere, die trotz allem noch zum Verkauf zugelassen sind, besonders wichtig. Ferner wurde ein zus\u00e4tzlicher Ventilator installiert, um die Temperaturen im Sommer abzuk\u00fchlen und die Luftqualit\u00e4t zu verbessern.\u00a0Die Zahl der Buchten, in denen sich die Tiere frei bewegen k\u00f6nnen w\u00fcrde erh\u00f6ht. Somit stehen weniger K\u00fche stundenlang angebunden auf dem Markt.\u00a0Eine Kamera\u00fcberwachung wurde an den Be- und Entladerampen installiert. Gegenw\u00e4rtig gibt es jedoch lediglich eine Kamera\u00fcberwachung an den G\u00e4ngen die zur Laderampe f\u00fchren.\u00a0Auf dem Marktgel\u00e4nde wurden Poster von Vetvice aufgeh\u00e4ngt, die klar darauf hinweisen woran man kranke Tiere erkennt, bzw. wie man sie von gesunden Tieren unterscheidet.\u00a0Es gibt Stroheinstreu und Wasser, das f\u00fcr die Tiere zur Verf\u00fcgung steht. Des Weiteren ist ein mobiler Melkstand vorhanden, der benutz werden kann, um K\u00fche mit prall gef\u00fclltem Euter zu melken bzw. zu entlasten.\u00a0Die Tiere werden nun in ruhiger Art und Weise getrieben und verladen.<\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend unseres Besuchs konnten wir keine ernsthaft kranken oder verletzten Tiere beobachten. Es gab jedoch einige sehr d\u00fcnne und schwache K\u00fche sowie K\u00fche mit stark gew\u00f6lbtem R\u00fcckgrat, was auf Schmerzen und Unwohlsein der Tiere hindeutet.\u00a0Einige Landwirte bringen jedoch immer noch Tiere zum Markt, f\u00fcr die es besser gewesen w\u00e4re, wenn sie direkt auf dem Hof euthanasiert worden w\u00e4ren oder zumindest auf direktem Weg zum Schlachthof transportiert worden w\u00e4ren.\u00a0Nach den europ\u00e4ischen Richtlinien m\u00fcssen Tiere, die zum Verkauf stehen, in der Lage sein zu Stehen und zu Laufen und sie m\u00fcssen dabei frei von Schmerzen sein<\/p>\n

Bei unserem letzten Besuch<\/a> am 6. Und 7.\u00a0August 2014 haben wir Film- und Fotoaufnahmen von Tieren gemacht, die in einem sehr schlechten Zustand verladen wurden. Daraufhin wurde es uns beim gegenw\u00e4rtigen Besuch und dar\u00fcber hinaus leider verboten Aufnahmen zu machen. EoA hat sich an diese Vorgabe gehalten, auch wenn sie bedauerlich ist, um auch einen zuk\u00fcnftigen Austausch zu gew\u00e4hrleiten.
