Training and testing at large European pig slaughterhouse

On August 24th we had a brainstorm session with Dr. Temple Grandin and the CEO/COO of a large pig slaughterhouse in Europe. This was to look at how to continuously improve animal welfare at their plant. Follow-up training at JFamco slaughterhouse, Accra (Ghana)

Over Christmas WACPAW and Eyes on Animals held a follow-up training at JFamco slaughterhouse in Accra, Ghana. Animal-welfare workshop for pig butchers at UDS campus slaughterhouse, Tamale, Ghana

Today we gave a training in humane handling to pig butchers in the region of Tamale. It was held at the UDS campus abattoir.
