On April the 15th we visited Baskent slaughterhouse. Another example of importance of access to animals during transport!
Recently we had another case showing that side access doors are vital in livestock vehicles. This time a truck driver had to assist 2 calves, at two different times in the voyage, that were being seriously trampled by the other animals on board. The good news is that last week we checked on transport containers from the company Mantrans used to transport turkeys. The side doors can all be opened, turkeys can be accessed during transport which is good.
