EonA’s better method of carrying hens still in place at Polish market
In 2011 Eyes on Animals visited a weekly livestock market in Poland. We were shocked to see how poultry were placed into net bags (made for onions) and handed over like this to their new buyer. Still no calf-friendly milk in supermarkets
In order to obtain milk from a cow, a calf needs to be born. On dairy farms these calves are removed from their mother immediately after birth and put in a small wooden pen or in an igloo.
