Today we brought an unannounced visit to poultry slaughterhouse Van Miert in Breukelen (NL). In front of the building there was a poultry-truck with badly designed and poorly maintained containers. Today we brought an unannounced visit to poultry slaughterhouse Heijs in Leek. We hoped to share ideas on how to reduce suffering during the transport, handling and stunning of poultry. A few months earlier Eyes on Animals brought an unannounced visit to poultry slaughterhouse Jan van Ee in Stroe (NL) .
